TOURNAMENT RECAP: Craig Perks played his final three holes in 3-under-par to become the only player ever to make THE PLAYERS his first PGA TOUR victory. He chipped in for eagle at the 16th hole, drained a long birdie putt at the 17th hole and chipped in for par at No. 18 to seal the two-stroke win over Stephen Ames. "All week, the media was saying that you have to be experienced, you have to be a past champion; you have to be a major winner," said Perks. "But I think the way golf is now on this TOUR, people are breaking a lot of rules."
