TOURNAMENT RECAP: Hal Sutton, at 24, became the youngest winner to date after a wild final round when the lead changed hands 11 times. Sutton's first-round 73 was the highest ever start by a winner. Sutton was the leader in the clubhouse at 283 as John Cook reached No. 18 needing birdie to win, but he hooked his ball into the water and the tournament belonged to Sutton, who said: "I thought for one time in my life I was going to beat my heroes -- (Jack) Nicklaus, (Arnold) Palmer and (Raymond) Floyd. I may never do it again but I got them this one time."
