PGA TOUR Comeback Player of the Year: Dudley Hart

Dudley Hart was selected as Comeback Player of the Year over Davis Love III and Rocco Mediate.

Dudley Hart's year included six top-10s, including a runner-up finish at the BMW Championship.

• Hart knows how to turn it on when necessary. In order to keep his TOUR card for 2008 after taking time off in 2007 when his wife had a tumor in her lungs, Hart had to make $485,931 in 15 events. He only needed six events to make that much money.

• He also came alive towards the end of the year in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup. Hart tied for 12th at the first event, finished second at the third event and tied for 10th at THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola. He was 12th in the final FedExCup standings.

• It was Hart's most profitable year on the PGA TOUR. He earned a career-best $2.2 million in 22 starts and was 29th on the money list.
