VILAMOURA, Portugal (AP) -- Robert Karlsson stayed in contention for the Order or Merit and a third consecutive European Tour title with a share of the third-round lead at the Portugal Masters on Saturday.
Karlsson was at 14 under with England's Ross Fisher and Spain's Alvaro Quiros when play was suspended because of an electrical storm at Oceanico Victoria Golf Club. They were among 12 players who will have to complete their rounds early Sunday.
Soren Hansen of Denmark was the clubhouse leader at 13-under 203 after a second straight 7-under 65.
Karlsson made six birdies to be 6 under after the 16th hole when play has halted. He was playing with Fisher, who hit six birdies in a seven-hole span in going out in 30. He added another birdie on the 12th hole to be 7 under.
Quiros still had five holes to go but he'd birdied three of his previous four holes. He was alongside overnight leader Stuart Manley of Wales, who triple-bogeyed No. 7 and bogeyed No. 9 to fall three shots off the pace.
