Chad Campbell, Bubba Watson
Tee time:
11:50 a.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 4
Why you should watch: The fact that Watson is even here at East Lake speaks volumes about how well he has elevated his all-around game in 2008. Watson's iron play and short game improve every year, and he will eventually start making his way onto some Presidents Cup and Ryder Cup teams. To win this week, Watson must avoid mistakes at East Lake's difficult array of par-3s. If he can somehow play the par-3s under par, he will be tough, because Bubba has the rest of the holes covered.

2008 Stat Comparison
Player Events Played Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Avg.
Campbell 25 17 -- 1 1 6 12 70.56
Watson 26 17 -- 1 -- 3 7 71.10

Jim Furyk, Sergio Garcia
Tee time:
2 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 20
Why you should watch: It's a Ryder Cup reunion -- four days later. Furyk does not want to go winless for the 2008 season, and East Lake is probably going to be his last shot. Furyk tied for 11th in last year's THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola, lowing his score in every round (71-69-67-66). East Lake's shorter holes play right into his hands. As far as Garcia goes, It will be interesting to see how he bounces back from the massive disappointment last week at the Ryder Cup. Almost lost is the fact that Garcia has really matured as a player in 2008, and while a win at East Lake won't erase the disappointment he experienced in the majors, it will be an excellent base for 2009.

2008 Stat Comparison
Player Events Played Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Avg.
Furyk 25 22 -- 1 2 8 12 70.59
Garcia 18 17 1 2 -- 5 10 70.74

Vijay Singh, Camilo Villegas
Tee time:
2:10 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 35
Why you should watch: Villegas won two weeks ago at the BMW Championship, but the win was hardly a surprise. The Colombian has been on fire since mid-season, racking up three top-10s in his last four starts. Realistically, he could have won 2-3 times this year on TOUR. East Lake's length plays right up his alley, and he loves this course: he tied for ninth here last year with some electric play. The same can be said for Singh, who is rested and ready to play after two weeks off. Singh broke 70 in all four rounds here last year and finished tied for seventh.

2008 Stat Comparison
Player Events Played Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Avg.
Singh 22 17 3 2 1 8 13 70.16
Villegas 21 18 1 -- 2 6 9 70.73
