PGA TOUR SHOT TRACKER: Follow any group on the course

Vijay Singh, Kirk Triplett, David Toms
Tee time:
12:30 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 47
Why you should watch: Toms' improved play has been one of the best stories of the summer. The veteran produced a 68 in the first round that would have been lower had he not made a couple mistakes on the front side. Toms isn't just gunning to make his 12th straight cut - he is trying to win for the first time in two years. At 120th in the FedExCup standings, he needs a strong finish to assure himself a spot in all four PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup events.

Charley Hoffman, Davis Love III, Dean Wilson
Tee time: 7:40 a.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 21
Why you should watch: Love was in fine form in his first look at the Donald Ross design at Sedgefield. Love came out firing on Thursday, producing a 66 that tied for his low round of the year. Love is 150th in the FedExCup standings and must finish well inside the top 25 to have any chance of playing next week at The Barclays.

Carl Pettersson, Will MacKenzie, Chris DiMarco
Tee time: 7:30 a.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 6
Why you should watch: Petterson and MacKenzie both have strong ties to North Carolina, and both treat this event like a fifth major. This is especially true for Pettersson, a North Carolina State grad who serves on the board of directors for the Wyndham Championship. Pettersson opened well in Greensboro, and at 58th in the FedExCup standings, he could move into the top 30 with a top-3 finish.
