TORONTO -- Hollas, one of Canada's top golf apparel and outerwear brands owned by Second Skin, is donating 1,000 authentic U.S. military licensed camouflage shirts to service members. The donation is to recognize the humanitarian efforts of PGA TOUR player Rory Sabbatini who wears Hollas on TOUR.

"We are doing this in honor of the newest member of our PGA TOUR team, Rory Sabbatini," said Don Nichols, Second Skin executive vice president of sales and marketing. "These shirts are replicas of those Rory will begin wearing at this year's U.S. Open at Torrey Pines."

Wearing the shirts is part of Sabbatini's ongoing effort to bring attention to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and raise much needed money for its benefit.

"We felt it would only be fitting to donate the shirts because of Rory's dedication to the Intrepid cause," said Nichols. "Since Rory is a member of our team and this is a charity he strongly supports -- we will do everything we can to support him and his personal charitable goals."

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund supports the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. The non-profit organization has provided close to $60 million in support for the families of military personnel lost in service to our nation, and for severely wounded military personnel and veterans.

Sabbatini has helped raise more than $1 million for U.S. Military related causes. He began wearing the Hollas brand of golf wear at the Mercedes-Benz Championship in January 2008.

"Second Skin as a company has been tremendously supportive of my personal charitable efforts," said Sabbatini. "This was an important factor when I chose to wear Hollas on TOUR. Hollas' fit, fabric and fashion combinations make it the best apparel that I've ever worn on the course and I look forward to collaborating further with the Hollas team on new product development."

Another charity close to Sabbatini's heart is the United Through Reading Military Program. This program helps keep parents and children connected while separated during long deployments in war-zone areas through the medium of reading aloud on videotape. When Sabbatini was in San Diego for the Buick Invitational he took time to visit the men and women on board the USS Boxer and donate $170,000.

Sabbatini said his donation was a way for him to show his great appreciation to the men and women of the military and the sacrifices they make miles away from their family and friends.

Nichols believes that the Hollas PGA TOUR team will assist them in building their brand awareness in the United States. "We feel that when American golfers soon have the opportunity to wear both the Hollas and Second Skin collections, they'll be familiarizing themselves with clothes they feel offers the fit, fabric and fashion needs of their own personal golf style."
