• With his victory, Steve Flesch earns an automatic berth into next week's PGA Championship. This will mark Flesch's 27th career appearance in a major championship and his 10th at the PGA Championship, where he has five top-25 finishes.

• Flesch earned 2,250 FedExCup points Sunday, thus moving his season total to 3,897. He is now 79th on the FedExCup points list with two events remaining before the playoffs.

Tiger Woods remains atop the FedExCup points list with 25,624 points after his eight-shot victory in the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational Sunday. Vijay Singh remains in second with 19,129, followed by Jim Furyk with 16,691.

• Is putting overrated? Flesch finished the week 15th in Putting Average, but made up for it by finishing tied for first in Driving Accuracy, third in Driving Distance, first in Total Driving, and second in Greens in Regulation.

• Flesch's final-round 72 is the second-highest final-round score for a winner on the 2007 PGA TOUR. The highest final-round score by a winner on the 2007 PGA TOUR came at the WGC-CA Championship, when Woods carded rounds of 71-66-68-73--278 en route to claiming the title.

Kevin Stadler was the only player on Sunday who failed to record a single bogey on the difficult Montreux G&CC layout.

Charles Warren's tie for second is the best of his PGA TOUR career. The former Clemson University star and NCAA Champion finished the week first in Greens in Regulation with 77.78% (56 of 72 greens).

• For the second time (2005) in tournament history, the par-3 16th played as the most difficult hole at the Reno-Tahoe Open with a stroke average of 3.209.

• Reno resident Rich Barcelo used a final-round 68 to notch the first top-10 of his PGA TOUR career. Barcelo's 68 was the lowest round on Sunday, allowing him to move from a tie for 26th to a tie for fourth.

• Barcelo earned $132,000, bringing his season total to $284,441. This amount surpasses Barcelo's career PGA TOUR earnings prior to this year of $230,542.

• With John Rollins finishing tied for 30th this week at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, Lucas Glover fell from 10th to 11th on the Presidents Cup points list with one tournament remaining (next week's PGA Championship) before the U.S. team selections are made.

• The final-round scoring average of 74.256 marks the 19th time in 36 rounds at Montreux G&CC that it has been over par. This average is the sixth highest final-round scoring average on the 2007 PGA TOUR in relation to par.
