NUMBER THAT YOU COULD USE TO WIN A BET

14The number of players that went the whole week at Cog Hill without a single three-putt: Tiger Woods, Aaron Baddeley, Camilo Villegas, Sergio Garcia, Jim Furyk, David Toms, Bo Van Pelt, Charles Howell III, Ryan Moore, Kevin Sutherland, Charley Hoffman, Ryuji Imada, Luke Donald and Zach Johnson.

NUMBER THAT WILL BE REPEATED ROUGHLY 9.000 TIMES BETWEEN NOW AND THURSDAY

5The number of players with a mathematical chance of winning the FedExCup next Sunday at East Lake: Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker, Rory Sabbatini and K.J. Choi. Woods and Stricker control their own destiny, in the sense that if either wins THE TOUR Championship, they are guaranteed to win the FedExCup. If Mickelson wins in Atlanta, Woods would beat him by 20 points with a second alone. Sabbatini and Choi need help if either should win. In Sabbatini's case, Woods must finish 14th or lower while in Choi's situation, the game's No. 1 player must be lower than 22nd. Points earned by Stricker and Mickelson could also figure into the equation in either of those scenarios.
