Crenshaw: I'd say when Ben Hogan shot 66 on Thursday at the 1966 Masters when he was 54 years old. I think Gay Brewer won that tournament, but that was a remarkable achievement by Ben. I was 14 years old watching it. It was pretty moving.

PGATOUR.com: Last non-golf sporting event you attended?

Crenshaw: I went to about four University of Texas football games this year. That was about all I could go to this year.

PGATOUR.com: Strangest place you've been recognized and asked for an autograph?

Crenshaw: Oh, lots of places -- 7-11s, a couple of grocery stores. Yeah, it's just a happen chance and I'm happy whenever they ask.

PGATOUR.com: A favorite TV show as a kid?

Crenshaw: I was one of those kids whose family watched Bonanza, Gunsmoke. We watched Andy Griffith, too. It was just fun.

PGATOUR.com: One restaurant on Tour that you absolutely won't miss?

Crenshaw: I won't miss Luigi's in Augusta. It's a downtown Italian restaurant and it's just unbelievable. It's just down home; and very, very good. It's a wonderful place to go. That is one we won't miss. We'll probably go there twice next week.

PGATOUR.com: What do you find more entertaining the NCAA Basketball Tournament or college football bowl season?

Crenshaw: That's a tough one. March Madness has really skyrocketed over the past 15 years. It's fascinating to watch but college football is still a spectacle. College football -- there is nothing like it.

PGATOUR.com: Favorite candy bar?

Crenshaw: I'll have an occasional Snickers.

PGATOUR.com: Did you have a pet as a kid?

Crenshaw: We had all sorts of dogs. I remember we had a Norwegian elk hound named Thor. I'm not much of a dog person now; we have two cats at home...Francis is one and Kato is the other.

PGATOUR.com: A favorite ice cream flavor?

Crenshaw: Vanilla -- Haagen-Daz vanilla is pretty good to me.

PGATOUR.com: When was the last time you go lost driving to a golf tournament?

Crenshaw: This week! I'm notorious.

PGATOUR.com: Do you own any hickory-shafted clubs?

Crenshaw: Oh yeah. I probably have about 40. My earliest one is a track iron from 1850.

PGATOUR.com: If golfers wore jerseys, what number would you be?

Crenshaw: Zero.

PGATOUR.com: Have you ever broken any bones?

Crenshaw: No. I've been so lucky, but I almost broke my big toe one year at Colonial. It still haunts me to this day. I three-putted the 16th green in about 1979. I was in contention and I went off the green and kicked an oil drum full of trash. It was over there where nobody was and I just hauled off and kicked it. I can't believe I didn't break it but I've had two surgeries on it. I remember I was playing with Jerry McGee and he said, 'what are you limping for?' and I said, 'I dang near broke my toe back there.'
