Ex-Ryder Cup player Johansson wins Russian Open by six

NAKHABINO, Russia (AP) -- Sweden's Per-Ulrik Johansson won the Russian Open by six strokes, closing with a 5-under-par 67 Sunday for his sixth European Tour title but first since 1997.

Johansson had a total of 23-under 265. Robert-Jan Derksen of the Netherlands (69) was second at 271 and Alan McLean of Scotland (68) was at 272.

Johansson's total was one shot lower than the tournament record of 22 under by 2006 winner Alejandro Canizares of Spain. Johansson's score, however, will not be recognized. Players were allowed to move the ball within a club's distance because of a water-soaked course at Le Meridien Golf and Country Club.
