The FedExCup Playoffs are officially in full swing, and Team Nationwide members are right in the thick of the action. A total of 13 Team Nationwide members qualified for the inaugural PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup, and seven are still alive after the first playoff event, The Barclays.

TEAM NATIONWIDE MEMBERS
STILL IN FEDEXCUP PLAYOFFS
Player Rank Points
Brandt Snedeker 14 96,500
Boo Weekley 20 95,411
Ken Duke 37 92,950
Jeff Quinney 42 92,425
Cliff Kresge 99 88,189
Craig Kanada 103 87,925
Doug LaBelle II 120 86,600
Note: Playoff leader Steve Stricker has 104,950 points.

Brandt Snedeker ranks the highest, sitting in 14th place with 96,500 points in the FedExCup standings even though he missed the cut at The Barclays. Boo Weekley is second among Team Nationwide members and 20th overall with 95,411 points after he tied for 35th place at Westchester Country Club with scores of 71-67-72-70 for a 4-under 280 total.

Ken Duke is in 37th place with 92,950 points, while Jeff Quinney is camped out in 42nd place with 92,425 points after both missed the cut. Craig Kanada also missed the cut, and is in 103rd place with 87,925 points.

Two Team Nationwide members who solidified their positions with good showings at The Barclays were Cliff Kresge and Doug LaBelle II. Kresge ranks 99th with 88,189 points after tying for 54th place at 1-under 283 after rounds of 69-70-72-72, while LaBelle moved from 121st up to 120th place by tying for 41st place -- a small but crucial step up, since only the top 120 players advanced to play in the forthcoming Deutsche Bank Championship.

LaBelle posted rounds of 69-73-71-68 for a 3-under 281 total, and his fate came down to his final putt on the final green at Westchester. LaBelle faced a six-foot birdie putt on the 18th, and he'd be eliminated if he missed it. But he drained the putt, and advanced to the Deutsche Bank.

Two of the Team Nationwide members who were eliminated from the playoff chase also played well at The Barclays, but had just a little too much ground to make up. Andrew Buckle put together rounds of 71-69-71-74 for a 1-over 285 finish that left him in 142nd place. And Jason Dufner actually had the best finish among all the Team Nationwide players as he tied for 25th with scores of 73-69-68-69 for a 5-under 279 aggregate. But he could climb only to 127th place in the points.

The playoff contenders will be cut to the top 70 after the Deutsche Bank Championship, meaning that Snedeker, Weekley, Duke and Quinney are in prime position to advance to the third playoff tournament, the BMW Championship, while Kresge, Kanada and LaBelle have their work cut out for them.
